Hi, I have an 8210, version 5.25 (NSM-3).It was on orange and I unlocked it. It works fine on one2one but when you put Bt cellnet or vodafon sims in it turns off as soon as it gets a network. any ideas how to fix it and why it does that?

Thanks

Robert

There is no need what so ever to go off like that Joe!!

@Rob
flash a full 8210 5.31 MCU+PPM file and a virgin eeprom to the phone from the correct start and end locations

Then calculate the FAID and change the IMEI with Knok and finally unlock using Knok.

Turn the phone off and on again after a few seconds and try again with the 02 or Vodafone SIM

If still fails, then pehaps the GSM900 switch is faulty and its causing a software crash ?

ARE YOU CRAZY

This forum is for helping people ok not for f..ed and gays and idiots ok.If you can help ok if you can't no one ask you for help.
Dont use that words on this forum please.

And the solution for phones with bad flashing is this {tested}
Flash mcu ppm {and eeprom if needed}
Start nk calc with a mbus data cable F1 F2 F3
Will restart one time and than will register to the network

I blocked that ||Joe guy... there wasnt need for that behaviour.

Flash the MCU +PPM file from 00200000 with Rolis DCT3 Flasher
Flash the EEPROM file from the correct start address for your phone, some are different, this is a generic guide.

Then connect to data cable and load Knok
Quick Set Faid
Reset SP Locks
Change IMEI (type only a legit IMEI only, no fake ones to de-blacklist the phone - it may be illegal in your country)

Turn the phone off and on again, taking the battery out does it better...

Should turn on and find signal, and not crash.
