hello all.. i'm new into here, but seem be i'm having a lil. problem on it with the mbus/fbus thing, i'm badly hopeless in the matter...

i have p2 motherboard with me,and for ur imformation,p2 mobo just have 2 serial port for it,it's 9-pin and 24-pin serial port, and the problem is i used the 9-pin with my mouse and leave with the 24-pin port for the cable, but then, the cable i bought is 9-pin and i cant instead connect the cable to my motherboard, i tried to made one converter from 24-pin to 9-pin and plug in between the mobo n the cable and it seem like cant work at all.. while i'm using the logomanager with neither i choose the cable between fbus nor mbus... but when i bring the cable to my fren's p4 mobo,it works great.. or my cable is wrong ? anyone can give me a new schematic of 24 pin to 9 pin converter ?

can anyone tell me is there any other way to do with this instead of the convertor ? or how ? i'm a win 98 and desktop user. i really like to solve this problem out as soon as possible coz without mbus i think i cant make flashing sucessfully~!

thx much

Actually the large COM port is 25 pin. Maybe you miss 1 pin? Here are some reference for you. I save it from the web.

yaya.. it's 25 pin, i build a convertor with just 8 pin from 9-pin connector to the 25 pin one,coz it seem be the 9th pin (ring detector) from the mbus cable is unuse,so i din use it,is that is my problem ? b'coz i din connect it,it seem be working unproperly ?
