Is there a way to retrieve the number when someone calls you without showing his number?

there were some number showing modules for home phones.
interesting thing was that you could call back to hidden number.

hidden number will have CLIR bit set when calling, and if you can reprogram that part from nokia phones you could get that hidden number.
but, i think this CLIR bit bug works only with home phones (analog), not with GSM.
