Hi Guys!!!

Well, we all have the Dejan scheme now. But, I want the pinouts numbers for the 9-way D-Type connector. Also, tell me if its a male or female?

Thanks Alot

On most of the pictures I've seen, the connector is Male. But it doesn't matter like Abe says. Basically, you will be using the same ends that come with your flasher cable kit. At one point, I decided that I wanted to make my 3210 datacable into a universal nokia datacable by using all of the ends from my flasher kit. So I use a continuity tester on my ends and work out what connection means what on pinouts.

3210 has six pins: 6 5 4 3 2 1 <- top of 3210 connector
< btemp 1 ||| | | | | | | |||
< fbus/tx 2 |^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^|
< gnd 3 C |
< mbus 4 L |
< fbus/rx 5 I |
< vpp 6 P |

A ||| F
|||
B E <-6pin male connector on all cable ends

C D

I know that:
B = mbus(4)
C = fbus/tx(2)
D = gnd(3)
E = fbus/rx(5)

So I modded my datacable using this info and female 6-pin connector and now I have a datacable for all models (except the very newest like 8310 and 5510 coz I don't have the ends for them). Only my continuity tester has broke so if anyone knows what the btemp and vpp correspond to, pls give me a mail or reply to this thread. I didn't bother working them out to start with as my datacable dont use them. Hopefully I've answered your question Yasser? Sorry about text graphics but it was the only way I could mke sense of anything.

Outercore

p.s. Pls, someone post the hex file we all want!!!

Hi o_MAST!

I don't know which programmers will work work with this PIC, but I know someone who can program these. As soon as we get hex, swap info and i'll send you a pre-progged chip through snail-mail!
