barred 8310 :/

yo guyz

i just made an account on this site so iam (new) anyway i have a 8310 that was blocked askin for a restriction code.. i was told that if i got the DCT4 software and a data cable it would work so i did and it did unlock and i can use the phone fully just when i try and make a call it makes 3beeps and wont let me call out :( i was told that its barred by a mate sumit about my imei number what do u think?

soz about this thread read some other 1s about people having the same problem but they didnt get any useful replys so can anyone help..

it is barred you wont be able to make callss and as its dct4 theres no imei changeing available except desoldering and replacing a chip to fiddly and expensive sell it for parts ill start the offers at 30 quid

Make sure EFR and HR are turned on. *3370# and *4720#

oh and iam also willing 2 swap with someone thats living abroad thats in the same situation has me.. iam from UK.
