Nokia original ring tones info

Anyone here know where I can download the original ring tone from nokia 8290 (such as low, trio, polite ring tones). I love those ring tone and would like to transfer it to my new S105 phone.

if you download Mygnokii (aka Gammu ) you will find inside all Nokia ringtones in binary format not in rttl..use a converter to convert them to rttl and upload them

I agree with finn. In the gammu package (zipfile) all the dct3 tones and sms tones and almost all of the defaults of dct3 are there.

also gammu can convert rttl to binary or binayr to rttl
example:

gammu --copyringtone default\sounds\dct3\ringtones\low low.rtx RTTL

gammu has a lot of features, to know more just read its documentation or in dos mode type gammu | more to pause between pages

Not all tones in RE will be successfully converted to RTTL and the same is true with RTTL to RE conversion. If you happen to have TNPs PPMEdit prog, that conversion would be a piece of cake.:D

hey pals, can you help me how can i change the tone ids of my ringtones? Coz in my flash files, i have two ringtones with different title but the same sounds... and i know its all becoz they have the same tone id, please help! thanks!!

Again, PPMEdit by TNP handles ID's very well, and automatically.

Ive been trying to change it in ppmedit, but i couldnt find the way how to change it and how it changes automatically, could you tell me how? thanks!
