I have been playing around with this but I have had no success.

I did notice however that the vibrate, when the ring tone is playing, is in snyc. with the ring tone.

Would it be possible to change the vibrate on and off to the lights on and off?

I am not any good at this type of modz, so I am just wondering if anyone in here thinks it would work.

I am not sure if this has been mentioned/asked before.

I'm not sure; sounds like it's very possible though, just needs someone to figure it out...

This idea HAS to be possible! I have a 3330 thats been upgraded to the 3350! The 3350 has rhythmic backlight alert, so naturally so does my upgraded one! This proves that it's a software action, and not a hardware one! We need someone like NokDoc or the likes to filter through the hex of a 3350 and find a solution! If that can be acheived, maybe then we could have it on 3310?

Most of the newer versions of the 3330's will have the extra keypad buttons on the front of the board. if so go and flash with a full backup from a 3350 and get ya hands on a 3410 screen and facias and it`s done. after u sort faid and sfr that is.

You do not have to change any IC in order to convert a 3330 to 3350. They both have exactly the same hardware. The only thing you need is a 3410 display and a 3410 keypad. If you have them the only thing you have to do is to flash your 3330(50) with a 3350 fullflash (MCU+PPM). That's All

Hummm.........just wondering is the 3410 screen the same as the 3330? or is the res different? I know the key pad holes are different, but is the screen, especially as I have a broken 3410 screen and keypad so if the screens are the same I can take the one from my 3330 and fit to 3410

3410 and 3350 have the same LCD -- it's a higher-res one.

There's another thread somewhere a little while back about that... do a thread search ;)

Don't mean to be pushy, but, the question here was can we get the rhythmic backlight alert on all the 33xx? Not can we upgrade chips and stuff! Please don't wander from topic!

Cheers!

how about using 3350's front pad together with LCD? or must use 3410?
