How many times I can flash a phone ?

I am wondering how many times I can flash a phone. :confused:

I have flash my 3330 up to 200 times but i thing that all nokia phones except 5210 can flash up to 1000000000000000 times :D :D :D

which phone you have?

I have flashed my brother's 5210 more than 30 times.
It is still alive.
So all Nokia have no limits on that sector.

No all 5210! some 5210 with the first time you flash them THEY DIE! TAKE CARE OF THIS

Nokia 5210 dies when you use wrong flasher. But it can be revived using the right flasher.

With 5210, use kNok Phoenix build 1a only.

Dear friends,
Believe it or not, DCT3 Nokia never dies for good.
If you use Knok Phoenix 1 and take always back-up (full flash) .
Always flash it with the same version. Some versions are not compatible.
I have killed and unkilled a lot of them.

There is no need to use same version.
We ordered to upadte software for any phone we repair in nokia repair point.Just DSP rom version must be same.

I studied a while about the additional info you gave us.
Can you please be more specific; DSP rom version is the internal sw or the external sw?
For instance my 3310 v 5,55 has internal sw:6 and external sw: B60.6.756.
Which one is the important and where can we see that one a .fls file?

It is same like how many times I can format hdd and setup windows. How much you want you can do. But some flash ic made in china die after several flashing. Then just change that ic.

recently i upgrade my N8250 from V5.0 to V6.0 , after that i try to modify some melodies and Lang. then i use flasher Rolis 4.78 to write it agian to the phone, then message said : it will kill your phone !" Or maybe I 'm using wrong software ?

I think you can flash your fone as many times you wish!
EEPROM at a 3310 is emulated at the flash-ic rite?
So every time you call, put your phone, it writes something in the EEPROM area,...

I flashed my 5210 many times and still good and I am using Rolis 4.78b but rolis will not works if you didn't kill the fiad and mcu checks before flashin
knok is very slow than Rolis with 5210 it takes about 10 minutes to flash the fone but Rolis takes only 4 min.

Rolis always says that if you will write flash file containig eeprom area:D don't worry just a fake warning :D :D :D
