Hey guys,

Been playing about with vb6 and some mbus commands

Ok i understand the frame of bytes sent to the fone...

BUT could someone enlighten me please with the acknowledgement bit please :)

Ack from Computer:

{ 0x00, SrcDEV, 0x7f, id, ChkSum }

where SrcDEV: taken from response packet
id: request identity number 1..?, corresponding
to the response packet id
the request is accepted
ChkSum: XOR on frame's all numbers

Try downloading the source for gammu. As far as I remember it (at least used to) have some good docs in english on the issue ;-)
