Lets see:
I have too computers (PC1=Work, PC2=Home). Both have Windows 2000, similar processors and RAM, and the same brand USB IrDA port.
- On PC1, everything works perfectly OK (Sync, Backup, etc...)
- On PC2 when I try to...:
1. sync the Image Folder, it doesn't let me because it basicaly does not see the folder on the 7650, it just reads (Got to parent folder...)
2. Backup is not possible and the following message appears:
"AN UNEXPECTED ERROR HAS OCCURRED WHILE BACKING UP THE DATA. PLEASE RUN THE BACKUP TASK AGAIN". This message appears EVERY SINGLE TIME you press the "Backup" button, no matter what you do...!?!
So, any ideas of why the same program, from the same installation file, in 2 PCs that are almost twins, fails in one but not the other???

Just incase anybody else has the same type (or similar) problems related to the NOKIA PC Suite, notice that all problems desapear upon installation of the newly release version of PC Suite...

I have the same "AN UNEXPECTED ERROR HAS OCCURRED WHILE BACKING UP THE DATA. PLEASE RUN THE BACKUP TASK AGAIN" problem using winXPPro and PCSuite 1.0. but u got no problems using PSCuite 1.0 in my Win98SE and Win2K system. But when I upgrade to PCSuite 1.20 the problems gone and everything work well :)

Wow,
Guess I should rush and upgrade my PCSuite too.. I have this identical problem with my WinXP, and I thought it backed up regularly.. (since there is some stuff in different folders).
Anyway, one little question, does the backup of the DataSuite include EVERYTHING (Contacts, SMS, Game history...etc)?
I'm thinking of taking my phone to NokiaPoint since the Proximity sensor seem to be broken. I'm wondering if there is any way to do a full backup so I can restore it once the phone comes back.
Thanks people

why can i not transfer my mp3 to my phone using pc suite for 3650?
it just stops when converting mp3, but for videos nad files, images, it works like magic. i have to us e mp3 doctor to resample the mp3 to mono, 32kbps,24khz, then send it through bluetooth to my inbox, then open file explorer, copy, paste one by one, manually. whew! long route!
can anybody tell me why and how can i drag drop mp3 files w/o errors?????
thanks.

ur right buchikin!
i dont use the pc suite to transfer mp3 files to my 3650 because it will reduce its kbps rate quality, i do it on a card reader/writer removabale drive, better than the 7650 pc suite indeed!
3xxx are not really for profesionals they are designed for the youth 6xxx,7xxx,8xxx,9xxx are.....i think? hehehhee
digital red games are working very good in mmc! great program wish they can produce same platform its very stable what do u think buchikin??:D  :-D
