Here is what i have just pulled off a website and the reset memory does remove the the simlock because a Samsung A300 was locked to vodafone but now works on all networks

Samsung

i Have tested with Samsung R220 but that code does not work!!

tested on 2 a300's does not work shows wrong entry thats all.

well im sorry to say but regardless of what been happerning for you guys it worked for me i pulled the sim card out powered on the phone and on the boot screen i enterd * 2 7 6 7 * 3 8 5 5 #
i got a message saying somthing like wrong code error but at that point i enterd the same code * 2 7 6 7 * 3 8 5 5 # and the phone rebooted so then i turned it off put a different sim in that did not work before and it worked so then i tried another sim that worked too WOOHOO!!!!

got my Samsung unlocked
and all my ideas about modding
nokia's can come true!!
