In Need of serious help!!

I thought I made a full backup with Dejan, but only read from 00200000-00300000 and I thought I could upgrade to a new version, so I wrote v5.27 to it. and that was 3 Mb. Now I'm trying to write back the full 301 version back to the phone, but that is only 1Mb. So I wrote bad data between 00300000 and 00600000.

How do I upgrade the sw to a higher version?

How can I get the 6210 working again?

Thx,

Marcel

You can't simply upgrade a nokia phone by flashing with a full backup from another phone it does'nt work like that? There are additional checksums that must be corrected after uploading new mcu & ppm files (The correct way of upgrading).
These checksums are calculated by a nokia security program that service centres have (indirect) access to. There are some other solutions that offer the same feature (JIC Box, Dejan MCU&PPM Box, etc.). You cannot complete an upgrade without this equipment. All you will get (if the phone turns on at all) is a phone with no network or reboots every few seconds or contact service! You may be able to get the phone working again by flashing 3.01 back to the phone and hoping that the eeprom checksum is correct. I have attached it for you to try.
Good Luck
