if u wish to do it manual style using hexedit ( can be found using Search function .. use it if u need more specific subjects)

this method was originally well explained by NokDoc somewhere
in this forum...again , please use Search funtion ..but anyway i'll try to explain it here .. :D

1. Open ur .fls file using Hexeditor
2. do a search (CTRL+F) for Hex Values 0001FFA7(in case of 3210
use 0001FFA6)
3. Look at Program Status Bar for an offset value eg 0011BE3C .
4. Add 200000 so it would be 0021BE3C then do a search for Hex Values of 0021BE3C . This is ur Tone Pointer (need to change this
later on) . Now write on paper this offset address (the offset address is on the status bar )
5. Search for a Text String for ppm(if u have editted the file using PPMEdit ,u'll find the text PPMEdit by Tnp somewhere after the search) ...
6. Next , open ur tone file(with .re extension) , copy and paste it
exactly the same bytes ( higlight all tone data beginning with 02FC and ending with 070B and look at the status bar , u'll see bytes total of the highlighted tone) .
7. How to paste the same bytes ? After Step 5 , u'll find some data begin with FFFF FFFF FFFF , this is where u shall paste the data copied in Step 6 . Now u have to remember the tone begin offset (just put the cursor next before the 02fc and look for the offset at the status bar)
8. If u wish to edit the tone so it wont vibrate at all , better paste the copied data(from the tone file) into new file .
9. (in case if u paste it into new file) ... First u have to replace the last data , which is 070B with 0B0C , this is to stop the tone from looping . U can also replace hex data 0A01 to 0AFE in order to stop tone vibrating .
10. Copy the editted tone data , and paste the same bytes to ur .fls file .
11. Now go to Tone Pointer offset ( in Step 4) . Change the address to match the pasted tone data (offset just before 02FC in Step 10) eg . if u paste it at address 0012B946 ( begin of 02FC)
so u change the address to 0032B946 .
12. Save the file with different file name .
13. Open the file using PPM Manager and correct the PPM checksum . Save the file .
14. Don't worry about the MCU chksum , your flasher(tested on Rolis Flasher) will alert u of bad MCU checksum , correct the chksum if the pop-up menu appear on ur flasher program)
15. Flash the phone . Done .

Hope this would help .. and please correct me if i missed something important . TQ ..
