3210 dead???

ok heres the story, i tried flashing my m8s 3210 with nu2000 dont know what software version, (think v5.31). any way the phone does not switch on and i dont know what repair file to use because i dont know the version. tried backing up with a full version 5.31 full flash, but when it says erasing flash, i get an error saying CMD Eroor!
can any 1 tell me how to fix this the flash id is 001F00C0 if it helps.
pls help i am desperate.
