you're right, but database syncronisation...

if he puts a vodafone in that phone and after entering pin phone searches network - there's no simlock.

if simlock is enabled, phone would say "sim card not accepted" after entering pin

changing the imei in the uk is illegal and warrents a £5000 fine/5 years in prison or both

the reason for this is that someone wishing to change there imei would want to do so for one of 3 reasons
1 they have stolen the phone and it is barred and they wish it to work
2 they have reported the phone lost or stolen and have a replacement but they really have the original phone and want it to work
3 they have purchase with or without there knowledge a stolen/lost phone which does not work and want it to work

either one of thoughs reasons are actually breaking the law thus why the heavy fine and prison for such an offence

and people work down 1 to 7 trying to unlock
when they get to 5 its locked permantly as u know so they cannot try 7 code

posting 7 code does not help at all
because
in most of the world its code 7 which unlocks the phone
by the time people enter code one to 5 which wont work they are blocked they dont even get to try the code 7

so thoughs of us who KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING are posting the one code to stop this from happening
just because u are a new boy with a new toy doesnt mean that u cannot at least listen to good advise when it for the bennifit of the community

it is also for your bennifit as we will be supplying network lists telling u what code to place for what network and the codes will also we correct codes as some are not correct

if u cannot understand what we are saying then please dont make it so that people block there phones

posting 7 code does not help at all
because
in most of the world its code 7 which unlocks the phone
by the time people enter code one to 5 which wont work they are blocked they dont even get to try the code 7

so thoughs of us who KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING are posting the one code to stop this from happening
just because u are a new boy with a new toy doesnt mean that u cannot at least listen to good advise when it for the bennifit of the community

it is also for your bennifit as we will be supplying network lists telling u what code to place for what network and the codes will also we correct codes as some are not correct

so in short please do not get upset or offended nby me saying its bad practice posting all the code because it is when people here are trying to get some standard into the actual coding process

why if calculators are wrong, you offer them for download on your website?

you do business with gsm, I don't.

I do this just for the community and my private pleasure as I have a much better paid profession than deal with gsm tools like do in portugal

Ok and I understand and also try to help, but u "jumped" on me when I posted all codes... This was normal procedure since 6 months ago...
I also understand that all codes can confuse som distracted users... but they have to learn some way...
