U need mbus cable to connect with com port in Ur PC , than U need sw which named Nok Tool by Rolis (it doesn't matter which version it unlocks all dct3 phones) ,that's all

t-mobile uk gives him code 1 only, becuase only lock 1 is closed.

on symbian phones (3650/7650) code 7 usually gives code error, if only lock 1 was or is closed

differences in the first 5 digits are are normal, especially for digits 4 and 5 you can enter anything you want.

Yeah that's a fair point but other than discussing phones I don't have (i have a siemans c35) or asking questions in the newbie forum (which i'm not) it becomes a bit hard. Most people do come her ejust to recieve an unlock code for their phone and i'm sure they are very, very thankful for it but to penalise people just because they haven't posted lots is a bit unfair. Isn't the point of helping out others (in this case to unlock their phone) to feel good about doing it?

there is nothing wrong at all about selling codes

the only thing i class as wrong is setting up a website which sells codes and then coming to this forum to get the codes free and sell them on or using the software available free and selling the codes from the site.

i myself sell codes to the people who do not come to this forum but i like to think i give back by posting free codes here to whom i would call people who can be bothered to look, also the software made by me and others is a huge contribution also in my opinion

there is nothing wrong with posting codes to newbies either if u wish to do that all i have been doing is looking at there past posts
if they have say 5 posts and the posts have been for say 3 different phones to unlock but no posts for anything else i dont post them straight away i make them wait till later.
this way the logit user or our services get there code the same day which is reasonable but not fast enough to run a good unlocking business from the codes we give

its just vetting the users thats all and i would not say we all have to do it
just do it if u feel like u want to do it

hey guys i have question for you.

A friend of mine has a phone he bought second hand but upon charging it and turning it on it says soimething to the effect of "See Service provider"

If all it does it asking for a security code, try using default (12345) first - your phone might be already unlocked...

Then if phone gives SIM not accepted message, then you can try using an unlock code.

Unfortunately, neither code worked:

12345 or 00000 with Fido SIM card : Code error

Switched off the phone, removed SIM card, switched on (Insert SIM was shown), entered code with suffix #1 - Code error, then (without switching off the phone) - code with suffix #7 - same Code error message. The codes were entered as per the instruction above.

As I've heard there can be 5 tries in total.. so I've 3 left. :confused:

Any other ways around but re-flashing?

No, im afraid not... this message indicates that you have tried more than five times to unlock the phone by code, even though this is the correct code, the phone will not let you unlock it (having gone over five try limit)

You will have to go the cable route to unlock this phone now...
