I unlocked the nokia 5130 to any network successfully. Now for some reason it no longer has any network. No signal is showing. It was originally on orange but m8 wanted it on vodafone. It was on vodafone when i gave them it back but no 2 months later it no longer has any network. Vodafone is not showing up to select in network provider. What can i do or what could be wrong with the phone?

You May need to have to flash the phone. If the problem is not a hardware problem. The common problem would be that it has been network blocked.

How would i flash it?
All i have is a data cable which is fbus and mbus.
The details i get when i read the phone is this:

IMEI 495510202984548
SEC CODE 12345
MSID 8225DCED33A533E63AA6AFEFB5
SIM LOCKS

GID2 0000
MSIN 0000000001
DECODED MSID

I think that the 5130 only works on the 1800 MHz band and vodafone is on the 900MHz band

I did hear of some 1800MHz phones (5146,5130) working and showing vodafone as UK-10 and O2 as UK-15

But nobody could figure out why it was working.

yes 5130 works on 1800mhz but still got signal if you use in 900mhz but not working as good as 1800.
