If this has been posted before then sorry but its not easy to find.
When a call is made does the system check the IMEI direct with the chip containing the number or is this a report by the phones software like when you type *#06#. If its the second then in theory could a software patch be made to blind the system to a barred IMEI, in the same way we patch software to get around demo versions. I seem to remember someone making a DCT 4 IMEI changer that was software only. Any ideas ??:confused:
