av got a 8210 but it keeps turnin off and sayin that the battery is flat when i make a phone call!when i turn it on after it cuts off the battery meter is fine!i dont think that the microphone and the speaker work 100% either!how much to fix this?

it is probably PA and u should change it
does the batt. go to low only when u try to call?

Yeah, I got this problem too. Not the battery, changed that. Have read it may be checksums - am trying to use knok to fix & reset FAID...... will let u know.

tried the battery and it still does the same!it happens wen i make a call!the battery just says its low and then cuts off!wen i turn it back on the meter says its full!:confused:

I had this prob with my 8210 - kept cutting out saying 'battery low' and switching itself off in the middle of calls - particularly when it had a poor signal. This worked-

flashed with a full working backup from another phone (mcu+ppm+eeprom)
used knok to check + fix checksums
used knok to set faid
made sure IMEI was reset to original

Phone works fine now. I've tested it for a week and have had no problems.
