Rumours (to be verified) - BlueTooth

Hi people,

Last night a friend of mine mentioned me that Nokia might be releasing a new Firmware (from unknown source)which would include support for BlueTooth Audio. Not sure how you call it, but basically this would mean we could use BlueTooth headsets?? WOW!!

But... Technically, is that possible??

Hi,
I'm not a technican, but I have read at a german forum:

Nokia cant support BT Audio at the developmant of 7650 cause they miss a hardware port, to set BT up.

Therefore we will NEVER get a BT Audio (missing hardwae).

If i'm sure 7650 can't support audio BT because we have 0.9 BT and only 1.1 supports audio. This is due to Ericsson competition. Don't know if upgrading BT version is possible. If it is , I think we'll have BT audio at 7650 very soon!

No wonder Ericsson T39 and T68i can use it, even if they were released a lot before 7650..

Really hope it could be upgraded...

Wireless headset is part of their accessories. So I'm quite sure 3650 supports it....

Hi, @ LuKeStuD,

I know, that other phones (included Nokia) has BT Audio before the 7650 was developed - but Nokia thinks what happens and release it without BT Audio. And nobody realise this before buying.
