software for managing Messages in the sim?!

is there any software that we can use to download (as well as upload) messages into our SIM card?

I am thinking so because of i have lots of messages sent by my friends and i wish to keep them somewhere that i can read later... so i am thinking of downloading into hard disk...

even more, i have found a few software to make flashy messages, but none offers to save them into sim for later sending...

someone know any software that might help?
