Unlocking Help

[Unique]

To recieve your free codes its very simple when you know how. First post your IMEI, network code and model.

To find your imei type *#06# in to your handset. Write that full number in your post. To find your network code, see the post below.

You will then recieve a list of 7 15 digit codes from one of us. It will look like this:-

For different networks they lock different locks. Each code also unlocks different locks. You need to type your code into your handset as follows

X= how far down that list the number you are using is...

You should always try code 7 and 1 first.

So you would type
#pw+705550724347656+7# - code 7
and for code 1 it is
#pw+014023433202622+1#.

To get the p push your * key 3 times, the w is the * pushed 4 times.

When the lock has been removed it will say "SIM restriction off" or somting similar.

Sim free generally means the phone is not locked to any network.

These codes unlock the locks set my networks...

Try with your sim card out. You just enter that code. Nothing else. Just type it in, no ok, nothing.

and u don't have to press "ok" or anything, the last "#" is the one to confirm the code...

I would say, the simpliest possibility is to try...

ask some of your friends with different network providers...

In Austria, for example, we have 4 providers and thus i would try all four simcards and hopefully with one of those the mobile is working, then u know...

I have used DCT4 unlocking codes on numerous occasions, why on some phones will code 1 say sim restriction off, yet when i put code 7 in it still says code error. In the past it seems to be Orange locked phone. I use code 1 and it says sim restriction off, yet when I put a T mobile sim in it says that it is still locked, i then use code 7 which works 50% of the time or it brings back a code error,

Can anyone help as I have a handset at the moment which has been unlocked via code 1 but will not accept t mobile sim or code 7?:confused:

when you say "orange" do you mean orange uk?

the uk networks closes locks 1 and 2.
so, if you enter code 1 (ang get "sim restriction off") - lock 1 is open. but you still have to open lock 2.

you can use code 1 and 2
or
only code 5/6/7

The network code (MCC+MNC) from my Nokia 3650 AT+T wireless USA is showing 310-380(MCC+MNC) instead of the one (31038) you list. Also, in AT+T Wireless website, someone mention in order to unlock nokia 3650 for AT+T wireless USA, user has to us 310-380 for network code instead for 310-38 to generate code.
Do you know this fact??

America is strange..... They have different network codes for different countries. If it was me i'd try both. I will try to find out more details for you.

Why wouldn't you always unlock lock 7 if it unlocks all,why do people say try 1 then 5 then 7?
Is there a reason you would want say lock 3 on but lock 2 off and soforth?
What do all the locks do?1-6.
Is there any other advantage other than use any sim on any network?
Is the 5 tries only for incorrect codes or is it 5 codes only?
say if i did correct codes for 1-5 i couldnt do 6-7?

Unfortunately, there is no one code for T-Mobile. They have a bunch. You'll have to find out which one is yours. I don't know how to tell because I don't have T-Mobile. There is a post on this site somewhere that has all the country codes listed, including all of T-Mobile's. Do a search for it.

And yes, this is kind of an old thread, so there probably won't be many posts to it unfortunately.
