Maybe someone can help me, I recently purchased a nokia 6210 from someone but the phone is blacklisted so I cant go onto any network at all, but the phone takes the sim chip. Is there anyway that this can be sorted out at all??????????

The experts reccommend a "full flash" that is flashing the information (software) out of the current phone and replace it with new information which will include a new "IMEI" (International Manufacturers Equipment Identity) The network providers has a list of all IMEI numbers which they keep on computer so that every time your piece of equipment logs on to the network, the IMEI is checked against a list of blacklisted phones. If the number is in their system, they refuse access, and beware, they can also track the location of the phone and retrieve all the sim card information, which means if you use a sim card where you gave some creditcard or other details when you purchased it, the can nail you - almost.
