7650 crashed and dead

Hi, @ all flash-specialists:

Please help a german guy. He has installed some progs via wap - but now his phone hungs and he get at start the message: "Mistake at starting - please contact your dealer" (this is a translation from german).

He went to a dealer and they was unable to flash the firmware - he says the phone dosnt' accept a firmware flashing. He want to sent in the phone for 2 weeks - but this is unacceptle, cause the guy want his phone for the CeBit.

Question to you, hard- and Software-specialists: Is it NOT POSSIBLE to make a firmware upgrade (flashing) equal the phone is "dead". I mean, it must be possible, to delete the EEPROM. And flash again new with the actuell firmware.

But what I dont know: What is with the regular software at C:

Because this probs are often at our phones, please help and descriped, what possibilities are realistic with a technical equipment like a NSC.

The needs to go to a service center for repair, some centers dont have to gear to do upgrade so it has to be sent away for repair, now being that the phone is still new (under a year old) if new firmware can't be flashed to phone he must be again to get a new one under warranty.
