I'm a newbie so maybe my question will be stupid - if the phone is barred in another country, is it possible to use it here ? And what if I'll go to the country where the phone was barred ?

actually I don't know what's happen there - the situation is that I can buy cheap phone from another country and my question is if it will be working here....

Not true, I bought this phone off some Auction, this phone claimed to be Barred in Aust, but then when i bring it back to Sg, that phone is still being barred.

Yeah but what can u do if sumone rips you off!?

Can you get your phone back if you have their phone numbers etc? or are you fucked? because the phone being barred means its nicked? Specially if they are in a different country
