7650 Favourites Help Needed

Got dawn, need a little hand here.. just bought a 7650 and i´m to dawn dumb.. (lol) i cant add any icons to the favourites.. wanna add a new message icon to the favourites and cant do it..
anyone to help me?

go to the note icon that u want to change the icon of then click options.1 of options is "shortcut icon".i hope this helps
