according to a tutorial/explanation somewhere i found that theres a new firmware version for the 6100

- V3.22 12-11-02
- V4.01 12-12-02
- V4.03 02-02-03

got a question bout this, i got the 2nd one V4.01 should i upgrade this first before i unlock my phone ? and if i would do it myself is there a place where you can find the upgrades, and do i need a normal datacable for it so nothing special needed for this ?

I have opened SIM Lock in my 3390b mobile locked to T-Mobile in US. SIM
resitriction is OFF, However, no network. I flashed with NPB-1RB MCU & PPM
using Flasher 4.8. but now i just a dim message "Contact Service". I dont know where i went wrong. I tried flashing eeprom too from virgin eprom 3390.
but no luck.Does 3390 and 3390b differ?? can i flash with 3310v5.** to this phone?? can anyone help me out.. how to proceed. can anyone tell me where i can get full flash files (MCU+PPM+EPROM) on net??

For flashing 6600 it's only expensive boxes about 400$ or € , like griffin , prodigi , tornado and phoenix(original from Nokia),I think You cannot afford it and it's too expensive to flash one phone , better go to nokia service(authorised one ) ,if it is still has warranty they will flash it for U for free , or if U want to open Yours own service U must buy one of that boxes I've mentioned before ;) ; and in newer sw are older bugs fixed but sometimes they make new ones...( in links I've mentioned in previous post, Alf have also posted changes in fw)
