hey, just asking how long it takes to version up the firmware in your area?I went to nokia centre twice & fail to upload any firmware cos of their suxing attitude towards customers.THey told me to collect 1 day later the 1st time round & the 2nd time they told me to wait for 3.5 hours!!!!
I don't think any soul had that patience,so still holding 3.16 version but still doing fine with latest crakced soft.....

Yeah, I know definitivly, that the pure time for uploading is 25 minutes. Plus: Opening case, perhaps save the data and so on.
But the maximum is 1 hour.

Hi there,
Take a look at Mobile Phone Repair Company (http://www.mprc.co.uk)
I realise ur Probably stuck using the people ur with now, but for next time. I take my fones in over the counter and it normally takes 45-60 minutes whatever they're doing.
I think somewhere on their site they suggest a 24 hour turnaround period for mail/courier items, and as long as your fone is inside the 12-15 month nokia warranty period, I think you'll only pay the postage (at least I've never had to pay a penny, even for a screen replacement)
Hope this is of some help for 'next time'
Zero.
It took 2hours at my phone...

That's a pain.
Perhaps it was damaged in someway. Was it just going in for a firmware upgrade? Or for some repairs too?
I took a 7650 and 6310i in on monday and got them both back in 60 minutes. Although the 7650 seems to be much looser in the slide department, and it also rocks slightly when it's fully open.
It's really annoying me, so I'm going to take it back I think and see what they can do.
zero.

That's very poor service.
Have you contacted Nokia re: this. I'm sure they wouldn't be happy either. This is one of their accredited service centres.
Either way you should definitely write a firm but polite letter expressing ur dissapointment and asking exactly what the reasons are for this delay.
I really don't think it's accepatable to make you wait 2 weeks for something that simple, whether it is indeed a fault of nokia uk or mprc.
Zero.

depends on where you bring the phone, if it is just a store, it could take some time.
but if you go to a nokia centre ( i did in Rotterdam, Holland) they can do it almost immediately. It took 25 minutes for me to get my phone back
I have tha neelix II and i flashed my 7650 about 10 min.

:)
It took about 2 hrs. With backup done. Without the backup about 20 mins.
They showed how itīs done, with a special tool to remove the casing from the back. It looked quite hard bechause the girl who did it needed all her strenght to place the tool on the phone...she said that if she pushes too hard it, the keypad snaps off and the connection is damaged...if this happens, itīs two weeks in Germany...
