hi i already have the siemens maxim dongle kit but this does not support the a50.
is there any software to unlock this model preferabley in conjunction with my dongle.

you have to use Jordik Tool - with dongle, but it's easy to do so I'm ure that you'll handle it.

read old post and find "a50 unlocker" ... work with v2,v3,v4 ,,,if your a50 is v1 flash it with v2 and unlock it !!!
tested many time and work fine ...

jordik tool need dongle and you need make it ...


beter is 1. solution ...

thanks guys i have sorted it.
however after i passed the phone back to it's owner i came across these 3 programmes which claim to do the job. as i no longer have a A50 to test with i dont know if they work.

wings post on page 2 has a50 unlocker that works i have tested it and was successful

http://nokiafree.org/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=52893 where the test point is all i did was connect a piece of wire from the test point to the outside track which is the earth track and hold it there for 20-30 seconds well the phone unlocks. it`s very easy
