MT50 texting problem

i have an MT50 which was network locked.. i had it unlocked and at the same time it seems the software was changed.

with one network sim card the phone works fine (the network the phone was originally locked to) and with another sim card it lets me make calls fine but when texting and accessing the addressbook sometimes it goes really slow or just won't let me do it.. any ideaS?

i've been unable to text all week!
