Nokia have released an Official Version of the Video Recording Software with Sound

It is for the 3650 but works equally well on the 7650


It comes up as Hantro 3.4 i8n the about box!

The Quality is exactly the same as the Hantro 3.3! The only difference is it is an official Nokia product! ( and Free! )

418KB (ups). But the application will not run. The manager says under...

try install the hantro 3.3 crack by 18+2, then install this without removing.. let them overwrite

i uninstalled hantro 3.3 first then installed the new one with no problem.. i find this better because it has now the option to send via infrared or bluetooth on its own without having to go to a filemanager.. icon is better too.. hehhe.

in fact it is 3.04 not 3.4
thats probably because 3.3 files can´t be played in 3.04 (older)

has anyone tryed it on a 7650. is it better then cam recorder? coz i have hantro 3.3 and cam recorder, it would be nice to have a software to do both (record with sound & play back)

FINALLY!!!! finally, a video with sound recorder that works well with a 3650!
no probs with my 3650!:) no new icon though, uses the defaut video recorder icon. when playing the recorded video, video error occurs so u must play it using RealOne.

just tried it on my 7650 works fine

still only 11 sec on record but at least it does sound too.

better quaility then cam recorder

if you record in cam recorder it wont play coz its says no 3gpp player installed but it does in version 3.04, but if you open player 3.4 the video is there and it can be played.

Just tried it, its huge compared to Hantro 3.3 and I found the video quality not as good, at least theres no Voda logo. Still Ive gone back to using both HipCam as a recorder and Hantro 3.3 as a player.

Great piece of software indeed. No watermarked video (finally) although I'm a vodafone user myself hehe.

Looks like this nifty thingie stays on the phone and Vodafone's HantroVideo goes bye bye...

As stupid as this question might seem. Is this software from Nokia really Hantro 3.4 or what?

And is Hantro 3.3 better?

I have just played around with the Nokia version and although the Vodofone logo has gone, the quality is not as god as Hantro 3.3. So, I am of the opinion that the Nokia version is not 3.4 but actually 3.04 which makes it older than the 3.3 we have at our disposal.

For some of you the "No Vodofone" maybe a good thing and the ability to send the recording via bluetooth and IR without a file manager app.

However, I prefer the quality of video I enjoy with version 3.3 and have learnt to live with the Vodofone title, and using a file manager app is not too much bother at all!

But everyone has a right to choose.

The quality of the "new" version may not be *quite* as good but the main thing for me is that it seems to be better in terms of not missing frames during fast action.

Other software always seems a bit jerky when things are happening and this seems to cope soooo well with anything you throw at it.

Yeah, its a bit more jagged when taking the video, but it's cleaned up when playing. My guess is that they are stressing the phone less when recording so that it can cope better ?

Either way Hantro (3.3, 3.4 or 3.04) rules over all the others.

Now, if we could have that quality and longer time - then we'd be there !
