Help required with Win XP please !!

Hi All. Recently upgraded my pc to win xp pro, cant get any of my old software to work! Downloaded xpmobile, (which looks remarkably like knok ?!?) but it still does not recognise the port. It cannot find a phone connected. Am i doing something wrong? PLEASE advise!

u've done nothing wrong except
u'll need userport for winXP . try search in this forum for userport . its a program for winXP flashing to work.
