Iam not sure if you already know this or it might be old news to you but i have tried to use cam recorder/hipcam & at the same time download mms by hantro 3.3 & guess what?I am able to record video with sound more than 5 minutes!by using hantro as a player for hipcam you can record as long as you like provided you have enough memory space in your mobile.Good combo here!

True. The quality of HipCam's or CamRecs (which is the same program) really stinks. ESPECIALLY if you watch them on the PC.

Take a look. Record some fast moving video with hantro and with camrec ant preview it on the pc. You will be astonished how much hantro is better - rather use chunks of 100k vids than cheap shitty quality sized one meg.

true but i have not seen other video recorder software where time can be lengthen especially when i need longer recorder time....unless somebody have a better application or share with us....

Yeah! But I think, there will be some alternatives, soon, because the modern Phones have MMC-Cards and so it would be unlogical if you can only record 9 sec. ! Ok thats the Limit for MMS, but not if you want videos for your pc!

Perhaps someone can modify hantro, so that you can record 20 sec. or more...

I'd like to see hantro provide the option to record video without the sound. So that you wouldn't have to place ur thumb over the mic. (camrec has this option)

I've noticed on some shots with limited video movement the difference between sound/no sound was about 7 seconds. (actually no video movement w.sound 17 sec, w/o.sound 24sec) Yeah, I know there's no point shooting video with no movement, it was just a test..lol.

Anyway I'd like the ability to turn it off.

Yes, Hantro's Nokia Video recorder (which is free). Unless you want to record videos larger than 100k - in which case camrec is the only option.
