Panasonic GD87 software

Hi,

What's the newest software for the panasonic gd87... I have a16 or something ( can anyone remember the code u type in when u turn on ur gd87 to see what software version is on there etc?)
... I know there's a newer version out already, so how do I upgrade it? how much will it cost? what benefits will there be thanks peeps...

no the last software is A40, but only A22 is awailable.

oh 9999...hehe I was gettin mixed up with 0000 on nokia's...

a40 eh? so what's new and improved with that?
how can you do it free... and how do I get you to do it? e.g. give u a visit or what?

ps I have no cables yet for my gd 87... I was gonna visit a shop or somthing to get it done... like maybe the one where I got it unlocked... (kadza I went to ur place in camden... so can you upgrade my phone up to a40?)
or should I just get a cable? if so which one please?

Hi, tired the above method but it does not work. BTW i'm having the GD88 in Singapore. Is there any difference in the code to view software version? Thanks.

Another thing is, is it true that the data cable of GD92 can be used for GD88 as well??

sorry for the late reply...
u have to put in the code when the phone is still searching for network after u turned it on. if u do it once it shows ur service provider it won't do anything. if u do it right the last # won't appear when u press it, then shows u the details

why don't you use the new version of Panasonic Reader logger?!

it supports new version of GD87 and GU87!
no hazard! save time and no risk!!

by the way, you can use windomo to downgrade/ upgrade the firmware version.....

however, please don't forget to use the DB2000 to erase the memory...otherwise, when u send the MMS , phone will be automatically off....

Ive read somewhere that verson A53 is out for the GD87, anyone have this with or without the Sound Fix and anybody know the changes between my version A19 and the newer ones apart from 200 messages.
