PPM protection?

Hi.
How to make nokia flash unmodifiable,especially ppm area. How to protect ppm file further modification? Becuase we did many efford to translate and editing for ppm. Is it possible to protect make ppm file from editing edit or make ppm and mcu file unsplitable?Is there have anyway apply some wrong structure for ppm chunks,so ppm editors can't edit, but still can used in phones?

It is not going to be easy...

The text or pictures is not encrypted or compressed. so you can edit using a Hex editor e.g.

But it might be possible to make some code causing ppmedit and such programs to crash, or not load the file correctly.

go to hex prog
search for eg ... nhm by text
replacet with any thing y like u can replace all data contain ver , date etc....
check ur file and corect it by chickfixer by joox

do you mean that you have modify a ppm,and you use it to upgrade ppl hp to earn money,and you dont wan other to earn money with your flash.you can stop him to doing that,since he has paid for it.
or you just have to keep the flash for your own use only.
you see,the nokia ppl put in the mcu,ppm checksum and FAID to keep away other ppl to read/write their phone,so we still manage to crack it,so if you put some code to protect you flash,ppl still will find a way to crack it,if their want.
