Hi again

Is there an application that utilizes the infrared port of the 9210 to use it as Remote control for TV, Sat, ...etc?

A more interesting application would be an infrared port listening tool that would record any infrared signal applied to the infrared port on the device ; )

Actually, I'd be just fine with the remote control thingy ;oP

I tried this one with my 7650:

But I couldn't get it to work with my B&O nor a friend's Sony tv =/

I have not been able to find anything for the 9210 so far,... : (

If an infrared listening software was available, you would be able to record and re-transmit any infrared signal you receive... which would make it work as a replacement for any infrared remote control.... ; )

Aha, you see it from that point of view. Well it's rather clear then. Would you think this is a hard software to write? After all, I'd be surprised if there isn't already some sort of IR API you can utilize. Sounds stupid to have every program have it's on IR code.

I can't wait till my SDK arrives from Nokia, I'll have a go att hello world software then. And after that hopefully these small utils we all want! ;oP
