Iv got some MP3's. I want to put them onto my 7650, what do i need to do to compress the file so that it wont drain too much memory? What else will i need to do to get it to work?

1. MP3 is already compressed
2. you have to lower the bitrate ( f.e. from 128 to 32) so that the file becomes smaller
3. you need a mp3-player for your 7650 (f.e. MP3-Player/MP3Go/Multi Media Player/ReadM)
otherwise try midi-files instead of mp3's because the loudspeaker quality isn't very good and such small midis will do...

Nah, i was hoping to use the MP3 as a ringtone, is that possible? I could'nt find it as a MIDI file so just downloaded the full MP3.

Well, I don't think that's possible. (but I'm not really sure)
But you can decode the mp3 to a wave, but then you have to decrease the bitrate very much, because of the biger filesize of that wav.
But you can compress that wave to an .amr file which is very small (1 min. = 40 KBs). AMR can be used as ringtones...
But to transform a wav into amr is not so easy and I don't know exactly where you can find the program to do so...
Hope I could help...
