Anyone who can tell us how this file works? Is something like .msi in Windows ambient?

Is anywhere some appz to open and made this files?

The program you search for is part of the free Series 60 SDK and is called makesis. The sis format is really comparable to msi under Windows.

U know something about the .sis stored in system/install? Is them like a .isu to uninstall? This kind of files are generated by symbian after install? Or part of original .sis?

As far as I know, these files are automatically generated by the OS everytime you install an app. You are right, they are for uninstalling apps. If you delete these files, all your apps still work normally, but you will lose the ability to uninstall them with the app manager...

So far i've not found any PC/7650 apps to open/unpack/re-create SIS files....
(There is somthing for Psion's call nSISUtil)

I have been writing somthing for the PC that helps when manually creating the PKG file....

And hopefully the final version will make the PKG file for you.
But for now if you want to take a look, there a copy of sislist on my website:

and if ur using download accelerator, turn it off...

50megs doesn't like download accelerators (or linking), which is a real pain.

I only use them, because other hosts have kicked me off in the past!
