Iv tried to get a picture in the space between the clock and battery meter. Its worked but since iv done that, all iv had is problems. Because of that i took the picture away, but the problems continue.

Now, whenever i go into ANY application i get an error message.

eg. If i go into message i get 'messaging system error' if i go into camera i get 'camera system error' etc etc.

Iv taken evrything off my phone but i still get the same problem... Also, now when i restart the phone, instead of getting the pin code prompt box come up, i get a box saying 'system error'. I can still put in my pin code, but not actually being able to see what im typing can be a hassle!

Another problem iv now encoutered is that i cant use letters anymore. Whether it be searching in the contacts list, writing a SMS or writing an Note, i can only use numbers!

CAN ANYONE HELP ME??????????????????????

how did you try to change the operatorlogo?

Using SeleQ, added a new folder (called it PHONE), added a sud-folder (called it Oplogo), inserted an image into that folder then chose the option 'set as operator logo'.

Since then, all hell has broken loose!!!

you did that into the system folder?

try to call it Phone instead of PHONE!

what name did you give that image?

Would that make a difference? Because even though i used capitals it still actually worked (just f*cked up my phone in the process!)

Im not really worried about gettin the pic to work right now though... my main concern is gettin my phone back into full working order.

I was goin to try and restore the factory settings but i get an error message if i try and go into Tools - Phone - General. Is there any other way to totally reset the phone, as that might silve the problem???

the only thing you can do is to reset your phone. try *#7370# but beware that all your data is lost. btw this procedure will last about 2 minutes

im asking that, cause simply changing the operatorlogo cant mess up your phone...

1. you made a mistake and deleted something important
2. some software messed up your phone..

solution:
find the mistake and "repair" your phone
or
formate it and loose all the data in it...

good luck, tias

Il probably have to do this *#7370# thing (unless theres another better option) because iv already taken EVERYTHING off my phone and re-deleted that PHONE folder from the App menu within SeleQ.

Thanx for your help though, well appreciated.

i know its a little offtopic, but i dont think that wildskin is always as bad as you all say.

i have it on the phone without any problems...

but maybe thats because i paid for it?? :D

And if that doesnt work simply delete the file system.ini located in the c:\system folder but after that you will have to re register every app you have
