View Full Version : Goodbye everybody, 'was nice chillin' with ya ;)

Tomorrow I'm selling my 7650. There are two main reasons for this:
a) no new software in three weeks
b) spring comes to Russia - no more jackets/parkas/etc so no place to stuff the 7650 'brick' in. and I hate those carrying pouches on the belt or whatever it's called

So I'm moving to Siemens S55 which has all the feats I need:
1) e-book reader (finally!)
2) 16-tone polyphony
3) GPRS
4) camera (better pic quality, no 'barrel-effect', flash!)
5) really small size & weight

So good-bye everyone (sniff), 'was nice meetin' ya. C ya some day may be (when they release N9650 or smthg). Good luck. Take care ;)

nokia 7650 has an e-book reader..

I know. And the S55 e-book reader was the last drop that made me choose this phone as a SMALLER alternative to 7650. Really no place to fit the 'brick' in when you are wearing only your pants and a t-shirt :)

did you mean SL55 or S55? I saw SL55 before, but never S55. can u attach the pic?
SL55 model similar like 7650, wif sliding keypad, but SL55 no internal cam, so must attach like SE MCA-20/25.

mr tight-pants eh? YOu call 7650 a brick. have you ever tried to stick 9210 to your pockets? :D Pure luck you have the money to buy a phone which costs over 400$ since 50% of your countrymen cant even buy food everyday. Hope your happy running around in your tiny shorts with that fucking lame siemens phone sticking from your pocket. "pecker"
:D
no offense, just a joke. :D

Hi, xSWSx,

uh, S55:

- tiny display
- 256 colors only
- 921 kB memory only
- ugly attachable cam

You wont really change this "features" again the 7650?

Alternative to 7650? Are u high on sth... Smaller maybe... And u must wear really tight pants (swimsuit maybe??? In Moscow???) not being able to fit the "brick" .. Never had such problem...:p

If u want a smaller alternative just wait for SX1 for instance, that would be a good one! Or neonode... They say it will ship on April!:D

But S55??????? Please!!!!!!:D

Look, the problem is me ;) I'm not a hardcore gamer (solitaire & tetris only). I used my 7650 only to read books and to go online with WebViewer. S55 has both of these functions - yes, yes, WebViewer runs on the S55 just as on Symbian60.
So why do I need the 'brick' if I can have all I need in one tiny 85-grams-only device?

Use the force luke...

Why, oh why, would someone change a Nokia for a Siemens??

Judicator

Well, Nokia and Siemens are both great Companies!
Perhaps Nokia has the more modern phones with the better hardware...

But the switchable keypad in the 7650 was used years ago in a siemens mobile.
By the way: I never had so much problems with siemens-mobiles than I had with my 7650... (hardware)!
And the 7650 is not perfect at all!

A Guy in a Nokia Service Center told me that he know the 7650 being not made very functional...
They have much problems with not working mobiles...

But still Nokia 7650 is great because of Symbian60!

Hey man M55 locks very ugly, are u saying that u'll use this phone with ur tight-pants, and the camera?:D will u use it always plugged? I don't think so. I like Siemens phones too but nk6100 lokks very prettyy, and u can buy a smaller phone with a buil in camera like nk7150:p

S55 not M55!

Well, he don't have to always carry the camera with him...
But you are right! There are also small phones with build-in cams.

Learn to read, guys. I already told ya that I need the phone for two reasons: e-books and web. Then goes the size and weight. Camera isn't inportant for me - I have a canon ixus v3 for that. And smaller Nokia phones don't have an app for e-books. That's why I choose S55. Crappy boring 3D games & blurry photos don't interst me THAT much ;))

P.S. 14344 you're completely paranoid. go see a head-shrinker.
