Hi Al,

The unlock code works great. It took less than a minute with a message " Restriction Removed". Which I assume means it was successful. Oh, I paypal over a donation to your account. My way of say thanks. By the way, I hate to ask for another favor. I know this forum only supports Nokia phones. Do you also unlock Motorola v60 world phones? If not it's ok. Many thanks..

Hi Al,

Thanks for the codes. Seems like they don't work too well on the new phones. That particular phone was just released in the USA. After several attempts at entering the code it locked up the phone. Don't worry, it still was returnable to the store. It could be that new phones had differant codes. Thanks again for the help.

Just moved out here to China from California. Funds tied up for just a bit. But if you have time, could you generate for a 8390 for me? Will donate as soon as Bank of China gets off their butts (week?).

When I return to California will I still be able to use my old SIM card (from the jerks that locked this phone) after it's cracked? Assume so - just want to be sure.

I've unlocked the phone alright, but the sim card is still not working. I've been working with it for a couple of hours. What else could they have done to my phone? Do you have any ideas of where I can get some advice?

Unlocked the Nokia 8390. Put in Chinese SIM card (tested in other phone and works fine). Nothing. No bars on reception. Can't call out at all.

Can't access 'System Selection' menu item 4-4-3. (see http://www.nokiahowto.com/?./8300/8390/index.html )

YOu've unlocked it with 7th code ?

er, not sure. Think I did it with the 1st code, but may just as equally have been the 7th. Never done it before and had to try once or twice, so can't remember which one finally worked.
