Totally new to this, but have experience with eeprom programming and hex. Can I program (clone may be a better word) a new phone to work with the same number and use the same airtime as one I pay for?

You're talking about SIM clonning..hmm I think you can because I know people did this before but you will need some special tools to clone the sim card
