I noticed a small bug
when renaming the tone using TCO the ppm manager can't import it:( I think there is some thing wrong in that

I have noticed that. Can you tell me exactly what you did? Can you do it again? It seems that PPM Manager cannot import files if there is too many spaces in the filename or something like that??? What kind of names did you try to import? If it's bug in TCO I will fix it immediately!

For users of PPM Manager: Try not to use file/tone names with lots of "." (dot) and " " (space).

for example if the tone name is "love" and I renamed it from the program to "hello" the ppm manager refuses to import it....so Iam only using this program to sort the IDs then I add the renamed tones using ppm edit

OK I understand. Can you send me a tone that works and the same tone renamed with TCO that PPM Manager doesn't accept so I could fix the problem? As soon as you send the better.

Tone names in english (please not foreign languages) and as many as you can! 10 to 20 tones would be good. Just put the working files to "works" directory and not working to other dir and zip those folders and send here.

I haven't had this much problems with it.

here you are
I noticed another thing in ppm edit and ppm manager
when saving the tones using ppm edit and try to import it with ppm manager it destroys the ppm tones and delete all of it in the flash file..so I must after saving the tone using ppm edit I must open it with TCO and save it again to make ppm manager to import it correctly

I will look into it. I think PPM Manager replaces tones by ID. If there is "A" with ID 01 and you import tone "B" with id 01 PPM Manager replaces A with B?? Or something similar...

I will try to fix it today. I'll let you know when it's done.

Now I know what the problem is. It isn't PPM Manager. If you change the length of tone names that tone should be then edited from the end a bit. I will fix the problem as soon as I'm able to do it :(.

BOEBOE: :D

Romeo26222: The best!

All TCO users download this new version! A serious bug has been fixed and now it works completely.

Romeo26222: I tested this new version on "not working" folder:
1. I opened those files in TCO
2. I saved
3. Tested to import into PPM Manager and it works now

:) There shouldn't be any bugs left (and shouldn't be in the first place)

Tested and working fine..thanx

I have an Idea for you

why you are not trying to include rttl to RE converter in your program to make it able to open RTTL tones and edit them and save them as RE tones....

Have someone got any cool ringtones?

I have attached a zip with some of the tones i have collected... enjoy! :)

By the way, is it possible

to listen those .re melodies without flashing a phone?

m1xxu
24-04-2003, 01:15 PM
pekde: with PPMEdit you can

Romeo26222: at the moment I can't do the conversion because I don't know how those files save tones. If I could read a document about rttl tones and re tones then I could make converter. Do you know where to find such document?

I'm looking for tones of songs that appers on the Matrix Soundtrack.

Tracks:

1. Marilyn Mason - Rock Is Dead
2. Propellerheads - Spybreak
3. Ministry - Bad Blood
4. Rob D. - Clubbed to Death (Kurayamino Mix)
5. Meat Beat Manifesto - Prime Audio Soup
6. Lunatic Calm - Leave You Far Behind
7. The Prodigy - Mindfields
8. Rob Zombie - Dragula (Hot Rod Herman Remix)
9. Deftones - My Own Summer (Shove It)
10. Hive - Ultrasonic Sound
11. Monster Magnet - Look to Your Orb for the Warning
12. Rammstein - Du Hast
13. Rage Against The Machine - Wake Up

If anybody has any of those please send here.
