hey guys, Any idea?
I've got a 3330 converted to to 3350, Conversion was successful using v5.22 but there's a little more problem, The signal is a bit weaker in compared to my 3310/3315.....
What could be the problem? is it with the software version or is there anything need to be adjusted in its PPM or MCU or whatsoever in its flash file?
I would be glad to hear from anybody's suggestion.

I take it that you must have updated FAID etc.
Check which bandwidths each phone uses, sometimes they operate on a 900/1900 bandwidth instead of 900/1800 this would cause the signal loss that you describe if the network you are on uses dual bands!

how can I check it? through the phone? the network provider?
I don't know if this 3330 hardware of mine is dual band, if it is in the phone's hardware/software, is there any way I could modify it? and how?
Thanks in advance...

3330 is working on 900/1800MHz
The signal will lost on 1800MHz, because 3350 working on 900/1900MHz.
This frequency is inposible to change with software and make a changes in hardware is NOT GOOD IDEA
Try to change phones eeprom with virgineeprom and update a checksum. Use NokiaTool by Rolis 1.7 or higher for example.

@DeCODER
WRONG
The 3350 runs on 900/1800Mhz
I got my 3350 working on Orange UK which is 1800Mhz
What reden_007 is saying the signal isn't as strong on 3350 as it is on his 3310/15
But they are differnt phone so I wouldn't think they would perform the same.

Try a different flash! My 3350 upgrade works a treat! If it was getting good signal before the upgrade, then it's definately a software issue!;)

Guys!!
cprafferty was right he got my point..
The problem is, there isn' any available virgin flash file for 3350 except for the eeprom in the download area so I just used the flash file shared to me by cprafferty, thanks to you!!...
just can't find any virgin flash file to try it with, I've searched the net but there isn't any. Thus anyone have? I would be glad if you would let me try it....

Here is a virgin eeprom flash file!
If you are looking for the mcu-ppm then goto http://www.freegsm.biz

oops forgot to attach it!!
it should be recorded to 0x5F0000 I think!

You MUST flash the virgin EEPROM from 0x530000!

Honnan szeded ezt ???
Virgin eeprom is only eeprom, or eeprom+pmm?

Try this one... It works gr8 with my 3330 to 3350...
Flash from 0x5300000 to 0x60000000..
Good luck..
Better to keep some settings (TX, RX calibrations, etc.) from original phone, but it's a bit harder than just reflash with virgin eeprom (this one has another calibrations, so your phone can have weak signal).
