ok, bear with me, i'm new and have several questions to ask....

i just converted an 8260 to an 8860, and i would like to know why the bmp-1a battery will not charge with the 8260 main board. i know that the 8860 main board will charge the blb-3 and blb-2 battery, and i was woundering if there is a way to make this work without converting the bmp-1a to a blb-2.

i'm new to the world of flashing the phones, what is usefull about this, how do you do it, and where can i get the items i need.

there are a few options that the 8860 has that my 8260 doesn't with concerns with the face plate options, is there anyway to add these to the 8260's programing.
