hi guys,
i got my 3650 last week, installed a few cracked apps and all seemed well, when the irremote 0.8 was released i installed it and it asked to reset the phone, i did, and it showed me some kernel error or sumthing, and that i should contact my retailer.
anyway, i turned my phone off and then on again and now it boots but i cant type letters, numbers only, you know that symbol that shows you whether ur typing, big letters, or small, or dictionary or not or numbers, thats not there anymore
any ideas??
thanx
ps: is there anyway of like resetting the fone to factory defaults??

in 7650 u can use *#7370# to format ur phone, but all the data will be lost...but i dont know if it works with 3650...
P.S:wait for the complete format to finish...dont remove ur battery or type anything during format

you can use the *#7370# for format user data area.
all data that you save to the device memory will lost, factory setting will restore, just like new phone

You didn't put a password on the MMC did you?

Oh, and as a word of advice, backup your phone memory to MMC occasionally (once a week?). That way, if you ever have a problem after installing an app (this has saved me a few headaches), you can always restore to phone settings from the MMC. This option appears to create a compressed file on the MMC with all/most of the data from phone, such as apps, contacts, etc...

I was just about to post a new thread.
This is the second time it happens, and I ca't figure out why.
I used SystemTools to format the phone last time it happened - haven't done it yet this time, was hoping to get a solution here first.
It is very strange. Last time i installed programs was yesterday, and the phone worked fine at 12:00 today, when i used it - than when i was going to call at 14:00 the alphabet was gone... Seems like some kind of time-bomb! I did nothing special the last time either.
BTW, go to tools, settings, general - and you'll see you get an error message. You can't access the general options.

HERE A SOLUTION I FIGURED OUT...
1st let us see how wildskiz work, if you open the system.ini on your c:, you will see there that wildskinz is being embedded to everything that you will do....
this is done thru the c:\feb\wildskinz.ini
all people who installed and uninstalled wildskinz should have this, dont delete that file because if you delete that file because as ive said, the system.ini of your phone has a code that calls that file so if you delete that, you wont be able to fix the errors anymore...
now here what to do...
sometimes the wildskinz.ini is left turned on even if you uninstall it, so to fix the problem.
you need to reinstall wildskinz again, turn in off. then choose none or 18+2. restart your phone...
the errors should now be gone... after this, you can now remove wildskinz again...

I just formating my 3650 and everything seems normal again. I am also formating the mmc. I installed all the working program, but when I tried to copy the crack software, I couldn't find the system/apps in the mmc, try to create one, but it said the folder exist.. look like the folder was hidden. Is there a way I could make this folder appear? weird..

your using efileman ?
if yes, go to options, general i think, then youll see there system folder, turn it on... youll see the system folder there already...
same goes for other file managers...

Why do you need a code?
You can format the card using the program on phone.
It is located in tools->memory (or something like that)
