very recently upgraded from xp pro to corporate but find error message when trying to use rolis 4.78, will not run under win nt or 2000 is there anything i can do to alter this cant downgrade o/s have no xp pro disk.

You need the Dejan2K UserPort file.

Download this file (see attachment) and read the readme.txt -- it's in German, but basically what you do, copy UserPort.sys to your %WinDir%\System32\Drivers folder, run UserPort.exe and press 'Start'.

you don't need userport only but you need the latest Rolis 4.78 b6 and use winxp emulation to make this program run under win98/winme..it works with me

Oh, really? I tried a while back but it didn't work... I'll give it another go some time :)

right click rollis, then go to compatibility... "make this software run under win98... :) "

That will not work. You have to install userport.

If you start it in the compatibility mode, the program will start, but you can't flash (freezes when it says "power on phone")

yes but we are talking about excuting the program at first because it says this program doesn't run under winnt

What use is running the program under WinNT4/5 if you can't flash? :confused:

tangcla thanks for the help mate still having probs think i will do full re-install/ download of rolis and thanks for userport mate.
