Hi,
I have a Nokia data cable, for my 3330. I wish to connect it to my PC, but am unsure whether I have the SIM card in or out of the phone.
Also, do I set the swtich to F Bus or M Bus?
Many thanks,
Ed Ludlow

maybe for certain operations you do not need to have the sim card in the phone, but it's best that you leave it there.
about the other question, the m/fbus modes are for diffrent things, use Mbus to unlock you phone, change the IMEI and update FAID, and Fbus mode for enabling NetMonitor and transfering data.

Thanks.
When I connect my phone, how does it get power?
I've tried conncting the power lead, but no luck. How do i make a connection between the battery and connectors in phone, while still having the data cable in?
Am I missing something obvious?
Thanks,
Ed
