i am using IR with 7650
i think its enough for me
changed connection speed at COM port to 115200 bits/sec
and the speed of IR device (HAMA) to 115200 bits/sec
and i am using XP too, so i don't really need Nokia PC Suite

hope it will help

did you say your using MA600? It's not suppose to work with the 3650. I'm using the the MA 620 that's made for the 3650... Maybe that's why your having that problem..

Hi All,

I was using the MA-600 with my 7650 and 3650, they both worked excellent, just a bit slow..(i could only use 9600bits, any higher wouldn't connect)

I finallyupgraded to a Belkin USB Bluetooth, what a differnce!!

i used to installed a sis file, come back after 5 mins and it would still be going (with Infrared)

Now with bluetooth, it takes, 10 secs....

Upgrade.....its worth it

IR is indeed noticeably slower than the BT.

my MA 620 is not that slow but anyways I also bought one of those 6 in 1 card reader now that's fast especially transfering real big files on my mmc.

Mine:

Card reader: 6 in 1, It collapsed when I try to copy big files like mp3.

MMC: Twin OS ( 128 MB), after I copied mp3, my phone won't start when this thing was inserted, damn!!!

Now, I'm using the one supplied in the box (16 MB):(

BT: haven't tried it yet.

Thanks for your reply.
