8310 phone restricted

i got 8310 which has phone restricted message when start ..and undo on botto right corner of screen.
if i press undo option is asks for restrcted code...

any idea ?

The phone is restricted - which basically means its locked to the network that sold it to you.

All you need to do is unlock it, and you will be able to use it on any network you like.

I had a 6310i with exactly that message - unlocked it and it works perfectly now.

what program do u use for unlock?
because some unlock program that i used make the phone get contact service, even somehow dead.
please tell me

Just plugged the phone into the cable and followed the instructions. I'm new to all this - but I think the 8310 is slightly different so im not sure if this software will work. The FAQ on that site says it will though.

Another source says that although you can mess Nokias up, it is apparently easy to get them back to life. I haven't messed one up yet so I dont know.

Anyway, the software works - so give it a try!

This message does mean that your phone is locked to a network. The way to unlock to all networks is by using a code generator, this is done by the IMEI number. I can do this for any one who has a locked DCT4 phone. You can eMail me and I will let you know the cost. Once payment is received I will eMail the code to you. All you have to do is enter the code via your keypad and its done.

Or if you find the right forum the guys here will give you the codes for free, all you need to give them are the IMEI Number (*#06#) and your network provider and your phone model so you dont have to pay to get your phone unlocked!!!!!
